Hi everyone!
Another week complete, another note from yours truly. ⠀
⠀
I saw this featured photo from a wedding album we received and it made me smile for so many reasons. Pictured is a happy couple (hey Michelle & James!), a happy planner by their side (our very own Colleen), and the reflection of great memories from an awesome wedding. ⠀
⠀
This was a small moment in a big day. A really precious moment so perfectly captured (Thanks Tanya!!). I realized, we often focus more on the big moments, the big picture, the big wins. Yet, in reality it's these "small" things that add up to something special.⠀
⠀
Throughout the quarantine I keep repeating the mantra, "the small wins are big wins these days" amiright? You made your bed. You made one difficult decision. You reconnected with a friend. ⠀
⠀
It's not easy finding the silver lining in a situation that throws sadness and frustration and challenges in your face every day, but if you put a bit of effort in, you'll find it. And being reminded to appreciate the small wins is a really big silver lining, in my opinion. ⠀
⠀
Health, love, happiness, support....are not cancelled. They're resurfacing in new, often smaller, ways. Just look harder. ⠀
⠀
Having a wedding part I, having a virtual event, having endless FaceTime calls with family and friends...these are small wins that will amount to massive wins in the future. 100%⠀
⠀
Moral of this story: a picture really is worth a thousand words! 😂⠀
⠀
Sending you all lots of love and appreciation. ⠀
⠀
Xo,⠀
Daniela ❤️⠀
